Description
The Ford fuel system consists of the combustion chamber, fuel pump, gas lines, fuel filter, fuel injectors or carburators and the gas tank.Fords run on gasoline, ethanol gas blend, diesel fuel or biodiesel blends.
The gas system combined with air, stores and delivers fuel to the cylinders where it’s vaporized and burned to produce combustion.
Whenever you press down on your Ford’s gas pedal, then you control the quantity of air and fuel that the engine takes in. The pedal tell the valve air to let in while the computer controls amount of gas.
The mixed gas is sucked into the engine cylinders, ingnited from the spark plug, making a clean burn that powers the Ford.
Maintaining the fuel in the vehicle clean is quite important.
Come in to have your old Ford’s fuel filter eliminated and replaced with a new one that meets with your manufacturer’s recommendations.
